Fresno, Calif. — Nursing students from California State University, Fresno honored the Knuckledraggers’ Improv Comedy group on Dec. 7 for donating free tickets to those who gave blood at the nursing students’ blood drive.

Tickets went to 105 donors who gave blood at the “Naughty or Nice” blood drive, which the students held Nov. 17 to help combat blood shortages during the holidays and educate the public about the importance of giving blood.

The Knuckledraggers are also giving tickets to another 750 donors who give blood in December and January, for an in-kind donation of about $7,200.

The nursing students presented the comedy group with commemorative T-shirts and a recognition plaque.
