Midwestern Rns In 2009 Aone Nurse Manager Fellows Class
The American Organization of Nurse Executives has announced its 2009 class of Nurse Manager Fellows. The yearlong program is designed to meet the practice needs of the nurse manager and prepare the next generation of executive-level nurse leaders.
“Once again, we are impressed with the caliber of these nurse managers and the commitment to their development from their nurse executives and organizations,” said AONE CEO Pamela Thompson, RN.
Nicholas Chmielewski of Ohio Health’s Dublin Methodist Hospital, Erik Martin of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and Lindsey Osting of the Ohio State University Medical Center, are nurses included in the new class of AONE fellows.
The fellowship will incorporate AONE’s work with the Nurse Manager Leadership Partnership and its Learning Domain Framework. Fellows will complete an individual capstone project integrating skills learned through the program and benefiting the sponsoring organization. Supported by the AONE Institute for Nursing Leadership Research Education, the Fellowship is the newest AONE program focusing on nurse manager development.
