Harbor Nurses Hit The Beach
Nurses at Harbor Hospital, Baltimore, celebrated National Nurses Week with beach-themed activities last month.
The RNs took part in a limbo contest, beach blanket bingo, and a medication administration relay to earn points for their units.
The SDS/PACU departments won the week of activities.
Also included in the celebration was the annual Amazing Race competition. Nursing teams got daily clues and journeyed throughout the hospital to learn about Harbor’s history and the function of other offices. The south 3 telemetry team won the competition thanks to a victory in a trivia quiz about the first Nurses Week.
The week culminated with an awards ceremony in which Marivic Bacwaden of the medical telemetry unit was named RN of the Year.
