I Have Noticed A Few Letters From Nurses Wanting A Change From The Bedside, And I Would Like To Offer Suggestions.

Dear Donna,

I have noticed a few letters from nurses wanting a change from bedside, better working hours or just simply wanting to be home more with their family. I had this dilemma two years ago, and I have now transitioned into telephonic nursing. I wrote to you sometime back, and you inspired me to look for other options and keep an open mind. I work from home part time (telecommuting) and have been lucky enough to find an employer who truly supports its nurses. I would suggest that nurses trying to find something new or just wanting take a break to look into this field of nursing. Thank you.
