Question:

Dear Donna,

I have an RN license. Do I need to take the NCLEX after I earn my BSN?

BSN Student

Dear Donna replies:

Dear BSN Student,

Good news: You do not have to retake the NCLEX after completing your BSN. Your RN license will be valid as long as you renew it according to your state guidelines and meet your state requirements for renewal.

Best wishes,
Donna
