Dear Donna,

I really need an RN refresher course and want a tip on where to go for one as I have been checking around but have been unsuccessful with junior college inquiries.

Needs a Refresher Course

Dear Donna replies:

Dear Needs a Refresher Course,

You should be able to obtain a list of all accredited refresher courses in your area through your state board of nursing, which you can locate through these websites: (www.ncsbn.org/contactbon.htm), your state chapter of the American Nurses Association (www.nursingworld.org) whether or not you are a member and/or your state chapter of the American Hospital Association.

You also can find courses by doing an Internet search for RN refresher courses in “your state, city
or county.”

Best wishes,
Donna
