Dear Donna,

From Facebook: Can you provide some information regarding NCLEX?

Seeking Licensure Info

Dear Donna replies:

Dear Seeking Licensure Info,

I'm not sure what type of info about NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN you're seeking, but you should be able to find what you're looking for on the website of the state board of nursing in the state in which you live or wish to live by going to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (www.ncsbn.org/contactbon.htm) and clicking on the NCLEX Examination tab. The tab provides information about what you need to do prior to the exam, what to expect the day of the exam and afterwards. You can also research testing locations.

If you were educated outside of the U.S., look for information there for international nurses. If you are an international nurse, also check with the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (www.cgfns.org).

Best wishes,
