A new collection of essays on bioethics and healthcare is expected to inspire undergraduate and graduate students and those in professional development programs, the American Nurses Association says in releasing the book, "Nursing and Health Care Ethics: A Legacy and a Vision."
The book is the work nurse ethicists at Creighton University’s Center for Health Policy and Ethics, Winifred J. Ellenchild Pinch, RN, EdD, FAAN, and Amy M. Haddad, RN, MSN, PhD. They brought together nurse scholars, a nurse historian, and medical sociologist in the book, which is 343 pages, available through the ANA for $29.95 (with a $6 discount for association members) at www.nursesbooks.org or by calling 1-800-637-0323.
