College of DuPage Practical Nursing Program Graduates Receive Pins

"That is an unbelievable retention rate for a nursing program," she said in a news release. "The faculty and staff have worked very hard to make this happen and, in turn, the students have, too."
The PN certificate program provides didactic, laboratory, and clinical education for students interested in a career as an LPN. The program also serves as a transitional step for students interested in continuing their education with the associate degree in nursing program at the college.
Community partners include the DuPage County Convalescent Center in Wheaton, Ill.; DuPage County Regional Office of Education; DuPage Medical Group; DuPage Workforce Board in Lisle, Ill.; HCR ManorCare; Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton; Technology Center of DuPage in Addison, Ill.; and West Chicago (Ill.) High School.
