St. Charles Community College nursing graduate Elizabeth Bailey of St. Peters, Mo., leads the line of graduates into the gymnasium for the 2009 pinning ceremony.
In March, graduates of the 2009 Practical Nursing program at St. Charles Community College in Missouri were honored during a pinning ceremony — a symbolic welcoming into the profession.
At the ceremony, graduates were given the opportunity to dedicate their successes to friends and family, instructors, and classmates. They also recited the Florence Nightingale Pledge as a class.
St. Charles graduates are Lindsey Cannito, Rachel Eberhard, Teresa Fischer, Sarah Johnson, Kapinga Katambwa, Felix Kimeu, Sheena Mediconi, Sandi Meyer, Megan Tintera, and Mason Weiss.

Sarah Hemkens of O’Fallon, Mo., was among 31 students who graduated from the St. Charles Community College practical nursing program.
