The Indianapolis-based Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing and Assessment Technologies Institute have announced a new co-sponsored grant that is available to RNs.

The grant, which has a July 1 application deadline, will support research that encourages the appropriate use of a standardized assessment program in a nursing education curriculum.

“With a common goal of offering innovative nursing education and professional development solutions for nurses worldwide, I am pleased that ATI and STTI can work together to increase the body of research done in assessment,” said STTI CEO Patricia Thompson, RN, EdD, FAAN.

Applicants must be RNs with a current license and have a master’s or doctoral degree or be enrolled in a doctoral program.
