Several Northwest and Southwest hospitals recently made the list of “Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals.”

They are: St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix; University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona; Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Ore.; and Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett Wash.

This is the 10th time Providence St. Vincent has made the list.

“We are thrilled to receive these honors,” Janice Burger, chief executive of Providence St. Vincent, said in a news release. “The ‘100 Top Hospital’ designation reflects our commitment to excellence. Our highly skilled physicians, nurses and staff are dedicated to delivering outstanding, compassionate care to our patients and their families.”

The study, previously known at the “Solucient 100 Top Hospitals,” has been conducted annually since 1993. More information is available at www.100tophospitals.com.
