The California Hospital Association has established a workgroup on palliative care.
Many CHA member facilities report that they have developed or plan to develop palliative care programs. The purpose of the workgroup is to advise CHA staff on regulatory and legislative issues that affect the delivery of palliative care services, and to provide information and communication to CHA facilities.
Membership in the workgroup is open to staff of CHA facilities, and meetings most often are held by conference call.
For information, contact Patricia Blaisdell at 916-552-7553 or pblaisdell@calhospital.org.
