The grant, from Maryland’s Health Services Cost Review Commission through the Nurse Support Program II, will help the college expand its MSN program to two sites — Harford County’s Higher Education and Conference Center in Aberdeen, Md., and Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md.
Over the next five years, the grant will be used to prepare an additional 50-60 students with MSN degrees that focus on leadership in nursing education. The first cohorts of students are expected to begin their studies in January 2010 at HECC and January 2011 at AAMC.
