Remeica Wilmot
Teresa Soliva, RN, staff development/clinical educator at Jewish Home Lifecare/Sarah Neuman Center, and Carlos Lim, RN, clinical educator at Jewish Home Lifecare’s Manhattan Division, were selected to participate in the Foundation for Quality Care’s Long Term Care Leadership Institute RN Nurse Educator Program.

The program, valued at $1,500 per participant, is provided at no cost through workforce education grants received from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration Nurse Education, Practice and Retention Program and the New York State Department of Health and Department of Labor Health Workforce Retraining Initiative.
The scholarship is limited to a class of 20 participants. Each participant must be a registered nurse in the state of New York.

Participants who complete the program are eligible for two college level credits from SUNY-Institute of Technology.

Congratulations to the following nurses at Franklin Hospital in Valley Stream, N.Y., part of North Shore/LIJ Health System: Remeica Wilmot joined the staff as evening shift assistant nurse manager, telemetry unit 2D; Michele Martin joined the staff as night shift assistant nurse manager, ED; Michelle Gray joined the staff as night shift assistant nurse manager, Unit 2E; Tracy MacQueen, operating room staff nurse, was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau; and Santha Kurup received the Zuckerberg Award for Outstanding Service Excellence.
