Carlos Lim, RN, clinical educator at Jewish Home Lifecare’s Manhattan Division, was selected to participate in the Foundation for Quality Care’s Long Term Care Leadership Institute RN Nurse Educator Program. This program, valued at $1,500 per participant, is provided at no cost to participants through workforce education grants.

The scholarship is limited to a class of 20 participants and each participant must be an RN in the state of New York. Participants who complete the program are eligible for two college level credits from SUNY Institute of Technology.

Marie Rosenthal, RN, assistant administrator and director of nursing at the Manhattan division, says she is not surprised by the selection. “In addition to Carlos’ outstanding nursing and leadership skills, he demonstrates flexibility and personality and makes a wonderful contribution to our nursing department,” she says.
