Employees and teams from Jackson Health System were honored with Achiever awards. Achiever awards are presented to employees who best exemplify the values of JHS: service excellence and quality, commitment, compassion, teamwork and communications, integrity and stewardship, respect, confidentiality, and who celebrate the cultural diversity of our patients and staff.

Olive McLean, RN, a parent educator in the NICU at Holtz Children’s Hospital, and the staff of the hematology/oncology unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ambulatory Care Center East were honored in April.

Deardry Ann Higgins-Alford, RN, a clinical staff nurse in the trauma resuscitation unit at the Ryder Trauma Center, and the staff of the Two North unit at Jackson South Community Hospital were honored in May.

Joann Gonzalez, RN, a clinical staff nurse in the pediatric dialysis unit at Holtz Children’s Hospital was honored in June.
