Nurses from Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md., administered a record number of vaccinations Oct. 1 and 2 at its annual drive-thru flu clinic.
Nurses helped vaccinate 6,973 people, the largest number in the 16-year history of PRMC’s annual event, which was held at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury, Md.
According to a news release, 233 pediatric vaccinations were administered to youths age 13 to 17, and adult vaccinations were administered to 6,740 local residents.
