The National Association of School Nurses is heading up a national education campaign to increase awareness of meningococcal meningitis.

The Voices of Meningitis program includes national and regional activities to encourage parents to consider vaccination for their preteen and teenage children.

“School nurses are at the forefront of ensuring families in our communities know about meningococcal meningitis and vaccination,” said Sandi Delack, RN, BSN, president of NASN.
