The School of Nursing at Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, N.J., was accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education after an onsite evaluation and curriculum assessment. Recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education, CCNE is the principal accrediting body for nursing schools and the only national accrediting agency devoted exclusively to evaluating baccalaureate and graduate nursing education programs.

“Earning the CCNE accreditation is exceptionally gratifying,” Susan M. O’Brien, dean of the school of nursing, said in a news release. “The distinction validates the quality, integrity and comprehensiveness of our programs and our adherence to the highest standards of nursing education.”
