Nurses at Newark (N.J.) Beth Israel Medical Center have achievements to share. Roseann DiBrienza, RN, MS, vice president of patient care services, will be honored as a high-achieving woman at the May 13 Salute to the Policy Makers Awards Dinner given by the Executive Women of New Jersey. Those honored are on boards of directors or hold senior executive management positions and affect policy in major companies, academia, nonprofits and government.

Jonathon A. Brown, RN, MBA, MSN, NEA-BC, FACHE, assistant vice president of patient care services at NBIMC and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, was appointed to the Emergency Department Psychiatric Care Committee by the Emergency Nurses Association.

Carol A. Connolly, RN, BSN, BS, a case manager with the Robert Wood Johnson Visiting Nurses in North Brunswick, N.J., was awarded a BS in Applied Sciences in Engineering & Physics from Rutgers School of Engineering.

Nurses at White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital Center have achievements to share. Michelle Finer, RN, OCN; Leslie Fessenden, RN, OCN; and Kelley Ahearn, RN, OCN, all of 5F oncology, achieved oncology certification.

Toyoko Yasui, RN, AHN-BC, of the 5F oncology unit, passed the advanced holistic nursing certification exam. Lisa Richards, RN-BC, of the 5F med/surg/oncology unit, passed the med/surg certification exam.

Megan Edwards, RN-BC, of the 4E med/surg/stroke unit, and Susana Dealmeida, RN-BC, nurse manager of 4E, passed the med/surg certification exam.

Jared Kutzin, RN, DNP(c), MPH, EMT, a staff nurse at Englewood (N.J.) Hospital and Medical Center, joined the HHC Institute for Medical Simulation and Advanced Learning as the associate director of clinical simulation.
