Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas — Lisa Roberts, RN, BSN, CCRN, nurse manager of the surgical ICU, has been accepted into the 2011 fellowship class of The American Organization of Nurse Executives.

Roberts is the only nurse leader in Texas and one of only 35 nationally to be accepted into the prestigious program, according to a news release.

The goal of the program is to ensure the future vitality of nursing leadership by meeting practice needs of the nurse manager and assuring nurse leaders are perceived as valuable members of their hospitals’ management and executive teams.
