Debra A. Albert, RN, MSN, MBA, has been named CNO at MacNeal Hospital, Berwyn, Ill.

Albert most recently worked at the Cleveland Clinic Health System, where she has been a nursing executive since 2000.

Albert began her career at the Cleveland Clinic as an undergraduate nursing assistant in 1986, holding several leadership positions, until most recently serving as CNO and vice president of patient care services at Fairview Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital.

She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

She received BSN and MSN degrees from the University of Akron and earned an MBA from Cleveland State University.

In addition, she recently completed the Johnson & Johnson Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
