Top 2011 healthcare stories include PSA testing

An advisory by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force for healthy men to no longer undergo PSA testing for prostate cancer was among the most important healthcare-related stories in 2011, according to a list compiled by USA Today (http://usat.ly/uRJkA9).

The USPSTF based its ruling on findings that the tests do not save lives but cause damaging or uncomfortable side effects.

The list also includes:
