I was thrilled to hear Eleanor Lambertson was inducted into the American Nurses Association Hall of Fame in the June 16 article “Six-person class enters ANA’s Hall of Fame” (www.Nurse.com/Article/ANAHallofFame).
I was fortunate she was chairwoman of Teachers College, Columbia University when I obtained my master’s degree in nursing. She was a tremendous role model and accessible to the students. I am glad she has been recognized as a very special nurse.
