Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital appoints new ICU/ED nurse director

Adventist Bolingbrook (Ill.) Hospital appointed Tammy Koslenko, RN, MS, TNS, ACLS, nursing director of the ICU and ED, according to a news release.

Koslenko brings to the hospital 20 years of experience in clinical management roles.

Most recently, Koslenko was the director of ED/behavioral health services at Norwegian American Hospital of Chicago. There, she oversaw a staff of 150, managed a $6 million operating budget and collaborated on its redesign.

She has experience in managing and implementing organizational change and new programs, writing hospital protocols and guidelines, cross-training staff and improving customer service and quality. Koslenko also is pursuing her MSN.

"Tammy’s strong clinical background will prove to be an asset to both our ICU and ER," Jolene Albaugh, RN, CNO, said in the release, "and Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital will continue to deliver excellent patient care under her leadership."
