BRONX — Nurses from Montefiore Medical Center were among those who participated Dec. 3 in a nationwide video project in support of The American Nurse book, which features a depiction of nursing across the country.
Joined by the project’s photographer/interviewer, the nurses signed copies of the book for colleagues and friends.
Photographer/interviewer Carolyn Jones explained the project to attendees in a short presentation. Rhonda Collins, RN, MSN, who commissioned the book, then presented a copy to Joan O’Brien, RN, MSN, Montefiore’s director of nursing, "so that there would always be a copy at [Montefiore]," Collins said.
