REACH Air Medical Services, based in Santa Rosa, Calif., received Diamond certification for the third consecutive year. The recognition is a result of the service being highly rated for quality in a patient and customer satisfaction survey by the American Ratings Corporation.

To earn the certification, companies must apply to be rated and pass each step of the 12-step rating process. ARC pulls a random sample of past patients and customers from the applicant companyís files and surveys about 100 of them by telephone, according to a news release. A customer satisfaction survey score of greater than 90 on a scale of 100 is required.

"Personally, Iíve been focused on rating local service companies for the past 15 years and Iím always impressed at how certain organizations are so focused on satisfying their patients and customers," Jim Stein, founder and CEO of American Ratings Corporation, said in a news release. "REACH Air Medical Services is one of those special companies."
