Crozer-Keystone Health System acquires Surgery Center of Pennsylvania

Effective April 8, the Surgery Center of Pennsylvania in Havertown, Pa., became part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System.

The facility now is known as the Crozer-Keystone Surgery Center at Haverford.

It is a service of Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, Pa. According to a news release, the surgery center performs more than 6,500 procedures annually, including ear, nose and throat surgery; gastroenterology surgery; general surgery, interventional pain management; ophthalmic surgery; oral surgery; orthopedic surgery; podiatric surgery; and plastic/cosmetic surgery.

The facility features centralized preop, operating and postop areas.
