MinuteClinic, the walk-in medical clinics inside select CVS/pharmacy stores, and the Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies presented 35 scholarships to prospective nurse practitioners and doctors in nursing practice as part of the Together We Care Nurse Practitioner Scholarship Program.

Mary Bikowski, RN, of Falls Church, Va., from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., received a Nurse Practioner Scholarship.

Most of the scholarships are worth $2,500 each and were awarded to 30 students studying to be nurse practitioners through The Foundation of the International Scholarship and Tuition Services Inc. The scholarships help cover tuition, books and fees for the 2013-14 academic year. In addition, five $5,000 scholarships were awarded to DNP students.
