Englewood (N.J.) Hospital and Medical Center hosted an awards ceremony during National Nurses Week to recognize its nurses for their commitment to patients and service excellence in a variety of areas, including collaborative practice, leadership, humanitarian care and community outreach.

"Our nursing vision is to provide family-centered care in an innovative, therapeutic, and safe environment, where our actions are directed to the ultimate good of the patient," Maddy Pearson, RN, MA, NEA-BC, Englewood senior vice president of patient care services and CNO, said in a news release. "Our staff is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to every single patient and their family. Those efforts are rewarded with the gratitude and positive feedback received from the families we serve."

Englewood has achieved Magnet recognition three consecutive times. •
