Nurses from Cadence Health’s Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Ill., and Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Ill., recently achieved the following:

Abbigayle Doerr, RN, MSN, APN, FNP-BC, CVRN, became a stroke certified registered nurse. Joanne Heidorn, RN, BSN, earned gastroenterology certification. Tia Monkemeier, RN, BSN, became a maternal newborn certified nurse.

Anu Stephen, RN, and Margaret Gallagher, RN, earned MSNs. Alyssa Jezioro, RN, ANP, earned an MSN and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Carla Zavala, RN, APN, earned a MSN and became a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner. Kelly Lorimer, RN; Patrick Mallin, RN; and Melissa Werkmeister, RN, earned BSNs.

Judy Biggus, RN, BSN, CMSLO, was named to the board of commissioners for the national Board of Laser Safety.
