Carroll Hospital Center promotes nurse to vice president of clinical integration

Sharon Sanders, RN, BSN, MBA, recently was promoted to vice president of clinical integration at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Md. Formerly the assistant vice president of clinical integration, Sanders is responsible for monitoring how patients are managed in all aspects of their care within the hospital, after discharge and in the community.

This will include working with the emergency, behavioral health, home health, outpatient services and care management service lines at the hospital, as well as playing an integral role in the functions of The Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County, Inc.

Since joining the hospital, according to a news release, Sanders has made a significant impact in advancing services and enhancing patient care at the hospital in her various positions. She previously has served as director of critical care, director of cardiopulmonary and outpatient services and executive director of cardiovascular services at the hospital.

Sanders graduated from the Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore and received her BSN from Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore.
