Trinitas nurses achieve promotions

Maribeth Santillo, RN
Two nurses are among six senior hospital leaders who have been promoted at Trinitas Health and Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth, N.J.

Mary E. McTigue, RNC, MA, CENP, has been elevated to the roles of vice president of patient care services and CNO at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. She takes over after the recent retirement of Bernadette Countryman, RN, according to a news release.

Maribeth Santillo, RN, MS, has been named senior director of emergency and ambulatory services.

She previously served as director of emergency and ambulatory services. In her new role, Santillo will assist McTigue and take on the added responsibility of maternal and child health.

McTigue previously served as the associate director of nursing at Elizabeth (N.J.) General Medical Center from 1992 through 2000. She was named director of nursing at Trinitas in 2000, followed by her most recent post as vice president of patient care services in 2010.
