Hudson Valley Heart Center, with locations throughout the region, has partnered as an affiliate of Health Quest, according to a news release.

Health Quest is an integrated family of healthcare providers that includes Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, Health Quest Medical Practice throughout the region, and several affiliates.

“We are thrilled to announce this affiliation with Hudson Valley Heart Center as part of the Health Quest family of providers,” Denise George, interim co-CEO, senior vice president, clinical services, Health Quest, said in the release. “Our partnership will offer our patients the most advanced cardiac care available and a more integrated experience when they need services at the office and hospital level.”

Hudson Valley Heart Center has earned the Bridges to Excellence Recognition Award, given to cardiology practices that achieve established performance thresholds.

According to a news release, HVHC is one of 11 cardiology practices in the U.S. to earn the award, which is endorsed by the American College of Cardiology based on thresholds established jointly by the ACC and BTE.

Vassar Brothers has earned the Healthgrades Cardiac Care Excellence Award for three years in a row, which places the hospital among the top 5% percent in the nation for overall cardiac services by the independent rating organization.
