Highland Springs names new DON for retirement community

Christopher Finley, RN
Highland Springs, the Erickson Living retirement community in Dallas, hired Christopher Finley, RN, as its director of nursing, according to a news release.

Finley has eight years of healthcare experience, including ED and ICU work, according to a news release. Before coming to the continuing care neighborhood of Highland Springs, he oversaw the rehabilitation department at Presbyterian Village North in Dallas.

As DON, Finley will focus on achieving positive outcomes by providing resident-centered healthcare and fostering a culture of service excellence to residents and their families, according to the release. Staff education will be a major focus.

He is certified in adult cardiovascular life support, trained in pediatric advanced life support and serves as a healthcare CPR instructor.

Highland Springs features 108 residences, offering assisted living, memory care, post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care services.
