Oak Hill Hospital healthcare specialists, including Care Assure patient navigator Lisa Cierpka, RN, BSN, participated in the “Living With Heart Failure” symposium Feb. 11 conducted by the Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville, Fla. About 225 people attended the event at Silverthorn Country Club in Brooksville, according to an Oak
Hill spokesperson.

Other Oak Hill specialists who presented at the symposium included: Mowaffak Atfeh, MD, board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine; Betty Davis, MS, RD, LDN, CNSC, director of clinical nutrition services; and Jennifer Siem, CPT, operations manager for YMCA of the Suncoast.

The event was designed to celebrate National Heart Failure Awareness Week and the lives of those suffering from heart failure.
