Nurses at Penn Medicine Chester County move up clinical ladder, earn certifications

Seventy-three nurses were awarded Clinical Ladder Designation at a special pinning ceremony held Jan. 17 at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital in West Chester, Pa. The program, in its third year, is an ongoing process that requires formal documentation for advancement and/or maintenance. Twenty-eight direct care nurses achieved Clinical Ladder II, 34 achieved Clinical Ladder III and 11 achieved Clinical Ladder IV.

Also, 12 ED nurses recently received their CEN certification. They are Pat Bria, RN, BSN, CEN; Jennifer Brennerman, RN, CEN; Rebecca Elenback, RN, BSN, CEN, Jamie Gibson, RN, CEN; Amy Sue Graham, RN, CEN; Nerine Kozlowski, RN, CEN; Aimee Mills, RN, BSN, CEN; Laurie Schiltz, RN, BSN, CEN; Jaclyn Wright, RN, CEN; Aida Wolfgang, RN, BSN, CEN; Jennifer Spece, RN, CEN; and Kelli Cuneo, RN, CEN. Jennifer Vuich, RN, CCRN, achieved both CEN and CPEN certification; and Susan Hahn, RN, BSN, received CPEN certification.
