Scooby Boo, the 12-year-old miniature pet therapy horse who visits Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital patients bedsides each week, will be giving out “kisses” in the name of charity on Friday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a news release. Scooby Boo’s kissing booth will be set up in the first floor annex hallway area of the hospital.

Patients, visitors and staff can get a kiss and make a contribution to TGH’s Tebbi’s Angel’s team that will participate in the CureSearch for Children’s Cancer walk Sept. 20 in St. Petersburg.

CureSearch funds children’s cancer research. Cameron Tebbi, MD, TGH/USF Health pediatric hematologist/oncologist is organizing the TGH team.
