Golisano Children’s names RN vice president of patient care services

Susan Ryckman, RN, MSN, CPNP, CENP, has accepted the position of vice president of patient care services for Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers.


Ryckman is responsible for directing and coordinating pediatric patient care by implementing best practice standards and promoting safe, quality patient care and nursing services in a professionally supportive environment, according to a news release. She also serves as a staff, patient and family advocate.

Since Ryckman joined Golisano Children’s more than a year ago, she has demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians, patients, families, leadership, staff and co-workers.

“Susan brings excellent clinical and leadership skills, which are essential for the continued development of programs and services for children in our region,” Kathy Bridge-Liles, chief administrative officer of Golisano Children’s said in the release. “In addition, she will be an incredible asset providing support to the clinical team as we build the new Golisano Children’s Hospital.”
