Jill Wall’s End of Shift article (www.Nurse.com/EOS/Just-Perfect) was touching. Often being a nurse and a mom is contradictory. When healthcare providers really listen to the moms, amazing things happen. Moms just know more that we as nurses could ever understand.

As a mother of a disabled daughter, I often do not want to let her healthcare givers even know that I am a nurse. Why is that? Take the nurse away and listen to the mom.
