Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital has announced the appointment of Jonathan Green, RN, BSC, CCRN, CEN, NREMT-P, as nurse manager of the surgical ICU.

Green’s healthcare experience includes military service, where he commanded combat support hospitals, emergency room nursing and critical care as a flight nurse and paramedic. He is working toward an MSN degree with a family practice nurse practitioner focus.

“We are excited to have Jonathan join our team of distinguished nurse managers,” Celeste Bethon, RN, MS, NEA-BC, vice president of patient care services and CNO, said in a news release. “He has an impressive background that will be beneficial to continuing the level of excellence in care offered at the hospital and on our SICU.”
