Ann M. Painter, RN, MSN, was honored May 8 for her accomplishments as a senior level professional by the Executive Women of New Jersey at its Salute to the Policy Makers 2014 Awards Dinner.
Painter is president and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills, Basking Ridge, N.J.
Executive Women of New Jersey promotes the advancement of women to the highest levels of business, professions and government and provides scholarships to women seeking graduate degrees. Painter was among the recipients of the Salute to the Policy Makers Award.
Painter has more than 24 years of experience in home health, hospice and community-based health services, and serves as vice chairwoman of the Home Care Association of New Jersey.
She has presented on strategic partnerships in home health care at the Visiting Nurse Association of America 2013 annual meeting, clinical best practices at the National Association of Home Care and Hospice Conference, the future of nursing at the New Jersey Hospital Association, and as a panel expert on nursing opportunities at the 2012 New Jersey State Nurses Association annual Nursing Convention.
