Columbia University School of Nursing, Manhattan, has launched a redesigned website to reflect the wide variety of research, clinical and educational programs in New York City and around the world, according to a news release.

The site is designed to better serve the needs of students, prospective students, faculty, staff and nursing leaders, and offers intuitive navigation tools to lead visitors to nursing news, event calendars and detailed descriptions of the school’s departments and degree programs, according to the release.

Columbia’s home page — www.Nursing.Columbia.edu — features a slideshow that reflects the school’s commitment to clinical care, global health, research and diversity.

“Our new website captures the vitality of our school’s outstanding academic programs, research opportunities and clinical experiences,” Dean Bobbie Berkowitz, RN, PhD, FAAN, said in the release. “It reflects our strong commitment to educating advanced practice nurses who will become leaders in their chosen fields, working to eliminate health disparities and to improve the lives of patients, families and communities.”
