Lourdes Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey in Willingboro recently announced that Patricia Stevens, RN, BSN, was named president-elect of the Central Jersey American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
According to a news release, as the president-elect, Stevens will continue to promote the nursing profession and best practice for the care of critical care patients. Stevens also is the vice president of elections of the New Jersey State Nurses Association Region 4.
Stevens has more than 30 years experience in the nursing field and is a nurse manager at Lourdes Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, New Jersey State Nurses Association, Preventative Cardiovascular Nurses Association, Tri-State Society for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Infusion Nurses Society and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
“We are honored to have someone from our hospital hold such an important role in NJSNA,” Kimberly Fetterolf, RN, BSN, chief clinical officer of Lourdes Specialty Hospital, said in the release, “We knew from the beginning Patricia would make an excellent addition to our team and be an inspirational role model to all nurses throughout New Jersey.”
