This year, there are 16 Everest Award winners.

Local major teaching hospitals named to the top 100 hospitals list were Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill.; Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago; Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill.; NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Ill.; and Northwestern Memorial Hospital Chicago.
