Sandy Collier, RN, won the second annual Kara Tompkins Short Stay Unit Nurse of the Year Award.
Kim Rohan, RN, APN-BC, AOCN, had an article published in Oncology Issues: The Journal of the Association of Community Cancer Centers in May-June 2013, “Developing a Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Clinic: The Edward Hospital Experience.”
Kerri Thornton, RN, was awarded the Good Catch Award in January for patient safety.
Nancy Withers, RN, received the Good Catch Award for patient safety in March 2013.

Patti Ludwig-Beymer, RN, PhD, CTN, NEA-BC, FAAN, presented on coaching effectiveness as part of a panel discussion at the Naperville (Ill.) Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute on March 8.
Megan Kelly, RN, became a certified emergency nurse. Joan Smyth, RN, organized a team of NICU strollers who participated in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies on April 28 and raised more than $10,000 for the cause. Kaitlyn Rosales, RN, became a certified hyperbaric registered nurse.
