These distinctions represent performance as measured by Healthgrades, an online resource that helps consumers search, evaluate, compare and connect with physicians and hospitals.
“Health Quest is committed to providing the highest level of quality of care, and we are very proud to be recognized by Healthgrades for our accomplishments,” Denise George, Health Quests interim co-CEO, said in a news release. “Our team of healthcare professionals, which includes our physicians, nurses, technicians and many others, demonstrate on a daily basis, compassion for our patients needs.”

Northern Dutchess will perform nearly 1,200 deliveries at Neugarten Family Birth Center at Northern Dutchess Hospital this year.
Putnam Hospital Center has developed several initiatives to enhance patients hospital experience, including the adoption of a patient-focused communications framework, hourly rounding by staff and postcharge follow-up phone calls.
Compared with hospitals performing in the bottom 10% from 2009 through 2011, Healthgrades Womens Health Excellence Award recipients had a 55% lower mortality rate across eight conditions and procedures and a 21% lower complication rate across seven conditions and procedures, according to the release. •
