Do I need to give two weeks or four weeks of notice when resigning from a job? I’m getting different opinions on this issue.

One of the questions I’m most frequently asked is, “How much notice do I need to give when resigning from a job?”

It’s policy, not opinion that matters here. Every employer has a policy on how much notice is required to resign in good standing. You need to find out what your employer requires and adhere to that if you want to leave on good terms, which you should always do, if possible.
